Question Details: I have recently bought a home. Its quite big and I would like to install a home management system that allows me to control all the lights and draps from my computer, tablet, or a central controls. All what I found up to now requires that I rewire the home or install large number of external equipment throughout the house. Is there a way that I can install wi-fi controlled wall switches that I can control directly from my computer using my wireless network?

It will tkae much more than that, you need to contact a qualified electrician.. You will need a whole new service coming into the home to run in conjunction with phone or wireless system.. The breakers will be on the switches.. Inside switches will have to be in on posistion at all times.. If you are looking to control dimmers or fans, you will ned to have remote controll switch capable products installed, if you want them controled from computer, you are looking at major bucks….Good Luck, If ya need an Electrician for the Job, Give me a call, but beleive me , this is gonna cost ya..
